International Volunteer Day

December 5, 2017 By //  by Nancy Ouimet

December 5 – International Volunteer Day
a designated day to celebrate the power and potential of volunteerism

We strive to offer volunteer opportunities to enhance community involvement with our organization and Kananaskis Country. Our projects engage volunteers at all levels of ability and intensity, offering everyone an opportunity to give back to Kananaskis Country.

Volunteerism is at the core of our mandate and values. For over 20 years, we have offered unique volunteer opportunities that give back to Kananaskis Country. The power and potential these volunteers have contributed to making Kananaskis so great is remarkable.

A BIG Thank You too all the 230 volunteers who helped out this year

YOU ARE AMAZING!

From November 15 – December 7 – Help Us Raise $7,000

Your generous support will ensure our programs continue to foster a powerful, broad-based public connection with Kananaskis Country through trail stewardship, volunteer trail work events, education and outreach.
