The Friends of Kananaskis Country depends on the generosity of individuals, businesses and organizations to maintain its operations. With your support, we continue to deliver educational programs, trail care activities and other programs that allow individuals and groups to experience Kananaskis Country through engagement and sharing. We work hard to keep our costs down and our operations efficient and we are always grateful for your financial support.

The Friends of Kananaskis Country are a member of 1% For The Planet, a global giving initiative connecting businesses with environmental charities. Business members of 1% contribute one percent of revenues directly to any of the approved non-profit environmental organizations in 1%’s network.  Non-profit recipients of donations — like the Friends — are chosen based on referrals, track record and environmental focus. Over 2,300 non-profits worldwide are included in the 1% program.
