To celebrate their 20th Anniversary, the Interpretive Guides Association is holding a one day Wild About Nature festival with some talks and guided walks.
Talks, Walks and Workshops: Come out and join the Interpretive Guides Association on April 27th to celebrate our 20th anniversary by participating in a guided walk, workshop and/or presentation. We have brought in experts in the areas of Story Telling, Forest Fire Management, Climate Change, Wilderness Survival, Navigation, Plant Medicine, Indigenous culture, communications and so much more.
Outdoor Leadership and Education Marketplace: Don’t miss out on the many companies, organizations and individuals who are on site to share their stories, products, services and fun, filled ideas in the Wild About Nature Marketplace. The Marketplace will be open from 10 am – 4 pm and there will be things to see, people to talk to and products to sample throughout the day. The Marketplace will be located in the Banquet room – second floor of the Nordic Centre main lodge.
Items for Sale! Acorn Naturalist Props and Products: The IGA will be selling skull, track, fur, scat and print replicas at The IGA marketplace booth. Product quantities are limited, so come early and don’t miss out on this awesome opportunity to buy great quality interpretive props. We will also have interpretive field guides and IGA apparel at discounted member rates.
Door Prizes! We will also be giving away several door prizes from local supporters and sponsors. This is a day you don’t want to miss!
