VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
CANMORE NORDIC CENTRE
Help build your local trail community! We will be working on various projects at the Nordic Centre including general maintenance on the Odyssey Trail and continuing to build the new Iliad Trail. Exact project details will be confirmed in the reminder email.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The level of effort will be medium and include hand tool work such as brushing vegetation to clear the trail corridor, digging a new trail, removing duff and earth with picks and pulaskis, and shoveling/raking out rutting.
PLEASE NOTE: Access to the project will be via bike! Be prepared to ride ~4km on gravel/dirt road, including some uphill sections.
