We have a few more days of work on the Tom Snow Trail before Alberta Parks has to pack up and start work on another project. Let’s help them finish this trail! (sorry for the short notice).
Tom Snow Trail June 26 – 27 – 28 – 29
The 2013 flood damaged sections of the Tom Snow trail. Thanks to Alberta Parks, the trail is now rebuilt and almost done.
Meeting time: 8:30am (8:30am –4 pm)
Meeting location: Moose Creek Interpretive/Spruce Woods Parking (located off Highway 68 – Sibbald Creek Trail, near the Jumpingpound Demonstration Forest)
Number of people: 10/day
What to expect: The level of effort will be moderate and include racking the trail, fine-tuning the tread, and hauling cut ends trees and branches off the trail. There will be a 30 minute hike (each way) to the worksite.
