We post all the volunteer projects and upcoming events here. Please do NOT just show up for a volunteer project. It is important to Sign Up First to insure we have sufficient tools, equipment, supervision and to be able to notify you of project changes.
We will be working on sections of trail damaged by the 2013 flood.
Meeting time: 9:00am
What to expect: The level of effort will range from medium to difficult and include hand tool work such as treading, removing duff and earth with picks and pulaskis, and shoveling/raking out rutting.
What to bring: You’ll need to wear hiking boots and bring work gloves (Friends of Kananaskis work gloves will be available), rain gear (hopefully not needed), along with your lunch, water, sunscreen, bug spray, bear spray, and other personal gear. All of the tools and equipment will be supplied by Parks.
SIGN UP: Click HERE (sign up will close at 5:00pm on the eve of the event)
Note: Should weather not cooperate and we need to cancel, we will notify you by email.
