Diamond T – Trail Brushing

TRAIL CARE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 

DIAMOND T LOOP – TRAIL BRUSHING

Brushing Diamond T Loop Trail. This 4.2 moderate trail is a forest and meadow loop that takes in an undulating cutline and a hill-top viewpoint.

Date: July 24

Meeting time:9:00am (work day: 9:00am-3:00pm) 

Meeting location: Station Flats Day Use on Highway 66 

What to expect:The level of effort will range from light to moderate difficult and mainly include limbing of branches, creating short sections of new trail, and shoveling/raking out rutting. 

What to bring: Come prepared to work all day in an outdoor environment. Dress in layers, bring a backpack and rain gear, hat, sunglasses & sunscreen, supportive footwear (i.e. sturdy hiking boots), work gloves, along with your lunch, snacks, water for the day, bear spray, and any other personal items you may want/need (i.e. medications). All tools will be supplied.  

Volunteer Agreement Form: You will need to fill out this volunteer agreement waiver prior to working on a trail care event. The form will be valid until March 31, 2021. To accelerate the paperwork process, please visit the link above to fill out this form ASAP prior to the trail day.

Note: Should weather not cooperate and we need to cancel, we will notify you by email around 12pm the day before the event.
