PETER LOUGHEED PROVINCIAL PARK TRAIL BRUSHING
These ‘Light Duty’ projects involve walking trails and brushing/pruning shrubs along trails to improve sight lines, as well as manage wildlife attractants on high-use trails, and also assisting Alberta Parks with brush clean-up on the paved paths in Peter Lougheed Park.
Dates & locations:
August 12, 26 – Mt Everest Expedition Trail & Upper Kananaskis Lake trail (south shore)
September 1, 2 – Peter Lougheed paved pathways network
What to expect: The level of effort will range from light to moderate difficult and mainly include pruning of small trees and shrubs, limbing of branches, and removal of brush/branches from trail tread.

Volunteer Agreement Form: You will need to fill out this volunteer agreement waiver prior to working on a trail care event. The form will be valid until March 31, 2021. To accelerate the paperwork process, please visit the link above to fill out this form ASAP prior to the trail day.
